The 2019 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards Ceremony convened recently at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, recognizing organizations and individuals for their exceptional contributions to the city’s scientific advancement and modernization. Techsun captured the prestigious Third Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award for its pioneering project, "Development and Application of Anti-Counterfeiting RFID Non-Transferable Wine Bottle Capsules." This accolade marks another historic milestone for the company since its "FDTC-n Anti-Counterfeiting Label" secured a similar progress award in 2001.

Established by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Shanghai Science and Technology Award represents one of the region's highest honors. It specifically highlights groundbreaking breakthroughs and original innovations that drive economic transformation, foster strategic emerging industries, enhance urban safety and eco-health, and empower regional innovation capacity. Winning this award underscores Techsun’s robust independent R&D capabilities and its technical leadership in the sector.
The award-winning project boasts nine authorized patents, including six invention patents and three utility model patents, all of which have been successfully deployed across the wine and spirits industry.
