On November 13, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China announced the second batch of national-level “Little Giant” specialized and sophisticated enterprises. Techsun Micro-Nano was awarded the title of “Little Giant” specialized and sophisticated enterprise (the published list named “Shanghai Techsun Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co., Ltd.”, which has since been renamed “Shanghai Techsun Micro-Nano Technology Co., Ltd.”).

The “Little Giant” selection is an important initiative by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to thoroughly implement the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, and to promote the specialized and sophisticated development of SMEs. The selected enterprises are frontrunners that focus on niche markets, possess strong innovation capabilities, hold high market shares, master key core technologies, and demonstrate excellent quality and efficiency. Candidates are recommended after preliminary review and evaluation at the municipal and provincial levels, and then go through multiple processes including condition assessment, inter-departmental review, expert evaluation, and public announcement by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, before finally being certified and awarded. This recognition represents the highest level and most authoritative honor in the evaluation of small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide.

Techsun’s successful selection as a national-level “Little Giant” specialized and sophisticated enterprise is a recognition of its innovation capability and industry influence, as well as a great encouragement for its rapid development.
